Black Like Me - John Howard Griffin - A Short Summary and Review

A short summary of the book Black Like Me:

I pretended to be African-American, this is what happened.

My favorite quote by John Howard Griffin from the book:

"Fear dims even the sunlight."

Questions I pondered while reading Black Like Me:

Where in the F-word were everyone's manners?

Have you ever been ashamed of your ethnicity?

My thoughts about Black Like Me:

Still unsure about how far we have come.

Manners!  Really people!

My heart hurts when I remember this actually happened and people were really treated this way.
